Ryan
Ludlam - A steady
performance on a day when Ilkeston's attackers lost their scoring
boots.
Ilkeston
Town will look on this game as two points lost despite the fact for
a fair amount of the game Prescot looked the better team. Their
touch was better and they were better in the tackle. However
Ilkeston had the better chances and the three new players Gill,
Muller and Smith were surprisingly of missing relatively
easy chances when all three were clear on goal. Prescot on the other
hand only had long range efforts and never really troubled Scott in
the Robins goal.
Ilkeston
face Marine on Tuesday who will be smarting from their defeat today
at home to Blyth Spartans. Three points will be a real bonus as
Marine are one of the top teams in the league.
Barry
Miller will be available on Tuesday and it will be interesting
to see who Nigel Jemson plays to partner him at the back. Up
front Mark Smith may get a chance to start as the Robins are
at home but again who will make way for him.
