of the Match |
Ben
Scott - A match
winning performance by Scott which
kept the Robins in the game when Marine were on top.
Ilkeston
Town will be hoping that this dramatic win against a team
challenging for the title will be the start of the end of their
fight to avoid relegation. despite the fact that the Robins were a
bit fortunate to survive in the first thanks to Scott should
not detract from what is an excellent result.
Veteran
Knowles came in as cover for the injured Ludlam and Holmes
filled in for Jervis as a left wing back. Holmes did play
full back as a schoolboy. Miller has a very sound debut and
the back four defended well.
Three
points against Burscough on Saturday should further enhance the
Robins hopes of playing Premier Division football next season.
