Adam Muller -
Tireless effort allied to excellent skills and a
fine goal made Muller Man of the Match for Ilkeston.
Ilkeston
Town made one
change from the side that beat Mossley with fit again Gill
replacing Carruthers who dropped to the bench. North Ferriby
started very poorly but gradually got back into the game and looked
the better team at the break especially with the awesome Bradshaw in
their ranks.
After the break Ilkeston
pushed forward and looked more dangerous but the breakthrough came
only after a tactical substitution involving Boulding coming
on for Holmes but playing on the right flank with
McSweeney moving to the centre of midfield. Boulding made
the Ilkeston goal with his first touch of the ball. North
Ferriby however equalised and for a spell again looked the side more
likely to win. Ilkeston weathered the storm and got stronger
towards the end of the game and may have felt a bit aggrieved that
could not have captured all thee points.
On Saturday it will be
interesting to see if Manager Nigel Jemson keeps the same
midfield formation that finished strongly and will Carruthers
start or return to the bench.
